This app is made available to you by TrakkaMedical Ltd (, a company registered under UK law (Company number: 09563827), established at Avalon Lake View, Dormans Park, East Grinstead, England, RH19 2LS. The app allows you to register and monitor your blood pressure and urine protein values. 

If you choose to, via your maternity clinic, we will provide the clinic the ability to read the blood pressure and urine results collected by this app and create backups of your data for security reasons. In this case, TrakkaMedical Ltd will act as the controller under applicable data protection law. All personal data will remain under your own sole control and responsibility at all times.


The personal data processed via this app consists of:

  • Any identification data entered by you, the user, specifically your name, age, and nationality;
  • Your contact information, specifically your e-mail address and phone number;
  • Device identifiers and technical information pertaining to your device, your user account on the device, and your use of the app on this device;
  • Data concerning health as entered by you, specifically your blood pressure values, urine protein values, response to general questions regarding your health.


If you allow TrakkaMedical Ltd to store your data:

Your data will be used for back-up purposes, allowing you to restore the data to any compatible devices you own and to synchronise the data between these devices;
Your data will be provided to the designated maternity clinic with whom you have agreed to take part in home monitoring of you blood pressure.

Your data will not be sold to third parties; nor will we allow third parties to use your data for their own purposes. However, storage and backup services may be outsourced by TrakkaMedical Ltd to a third party service provider. TrakkaMedical Ltd will ensure at all times that the third party service provider will be bound by an appropriate agreement in accordance with applicable data protection law, and ensuring at all times that your data will remain protected in accordance with at least the same standards as under the present privacy policy.

TrakkaMedical Ltd will implement appropriate technical and organisational measures and procedures in such a way that ensures the protection of your rights, and always in accordance with applicable data protection law.
In case of a breach of security leading to the accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorised disclosure of, or access to, your personal data, TrakkaMedical Ltd will inform you of the breach without undue delay, including a summary description of the potential impact and a recommendation on measures to mitigate the possible adverse effects of the breach.

You may at all times cease to use the app and/or uninstall it. If you uninstall the app, you will be given the choice whether you also wish us to delete any data that you’ve asked us to collect up. If you allow us to retain your data, it will be anonymised in order to allow research to be conducted the data by public health organisations.
